New Oil Painting Page

Good morning everyone!

I've posted a new page for everyone to see. This one contains all of my oil paintings that I've created. Feel free to take a look at what is in there.

As for other news, I have not received anything from Kappa Kraft Fair about my booth reservation. I talked to some people and because of our mail situation in Wyoming, my application probably just got in their hands yesterday. Anyway, I will keep you posted on the information for the fair.

God Bless Everyone!

New Mixed Media page, Etsy Changes, and Possible Craft Fair Entry

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let you guys know that I've added another page to my blog. This one contains all of my mixed media works I've done in my lifetime. I have quite a few so far and more is coming.

Next on the agenda. If you go on my Etsy page, you will see that some of my listings have disappeared. The six month expiration date came up. I will not be renewing those listings on that website. However, they are still listed on my Artist Rising page. Go to my contacts page on this blog to find out where to go. Changes will be made on my Etsy page in the upcoming months as I get more projects finished. You can still contact me for custom items through Etsy though.

Powell, Wyoming will be holding their annual Kappa Kraft Fair November 30th, 2013 at the Park County Fairgrounds. These are filled with vendors and their homemade crafts. Yes, they must me homemade in order to enter. I have signed up for a booth. As of today I am waiting for confirmation on the table. I will have original paintings there along with a book containing pictures you can get as a photographic or giclee print. I will let you guys know if I have a for sure table when I hear from the head people of the fair. Either way, if you are around Powell, Wyoming on that day, stop on by and support everyone there.

To close up, I would like to let you guys know that I will be posting every other day progress on my newest projects with some tips for artists out there on how to achieve the affect I did. It will be coming possibly next week when I don't forget my camera in Cody. I will post these things on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays when I have cell service. My husband is in college right now so we are staying in an area in Powell where we don't get a lot of internet or cell service so I have to wait when he goes to college during the day and when we are back in Cody.

Have an awesome and blessed week everyone!

The second page is my manga page. I've just started drawing manga so there aren't very much. I will post more as I learn more.

Steamangel Gallery

Welcome to Steamangel Gallery! I've been an artist since I was around fifth grade. Art has been a big part of my life, and I love to share it with others. I try to bring different pieces to the table. In this gallery, you'll see that I have dabbled in various medias. Particularly, you'll find in this gallery pencil, pen & ink, oil, watercolor, colored pencil, and mixed media. As of these last two years I've worked with pencil and mixed media. I try to work with ideas that just pop into my head. I get a basic image of what I want and work from there. I have no limits on where I go. Ok, there are some limits, but I can draw almost anything from people, animals, vegetation, etc.. I've even started to dabble in manga lately which is totally something new. However, I love it. My biggest hope is to see that people feel something with my art. I'm not expecting them to have a life changing experience (if they did great!), but I hope to give people something to look at. I'm not one of those that looks to be famous. I look to giving something to the people.
Anyway, there are different pages representing these mediums for you to look around. A good chunk of what I post is up for sell. I have a page with links to the websites that I work with to sell my artwork. I do special orders too and the prices are listed on the page with the links. I'll also have a little section about me so you know a little background on the artist. Feel free to look around and comment. I'm very open to hearing from the public. It's what helps me develop and grow as an artist. I hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks for dropping by.
